Cobra Tour Professional Ian Poulter Wins The Hong Kong Open

Poulter uses “All-White” Limited Edition ZL Driver in victory
Cobra Golf Tour Professional Ian Poulter captured the UBS Hong Kong Open on Sunday with a stunning 22-under-par 258 total, securing 11th position in the Official World Golf Ranking. Poulter followed an incredible 10-under par 60 on Friday with solid rounds of 64 and 67 over the weekend to claim his 10th European Tour title, and continue his rich vein of form. The victory follows a T6 finish at the Barclays Singapore Open, an event Poulter won in 2009 after first putting the Cobra ZL Driver in play.
Before arriving in Hong Kong, the flamboyant Poulter had enjoyed success at the WGC-Accenture World Match-Play Championship and not only bolstered his Official World Golf Ranking, but also his position in the Race to Dubai. Poulter is now 5th going into the final event of the European Tour season, with ultimate confidence in his Cobra Golf equipment.
“My Cobra driver and irons have really helped me boost my game this year,” said Poulter. “I am especially impressed with the ZL Driver, this is my third win using it and the first using the all-white version. The Englishman’s score of 60 on the tournament’s second day included 10 birdies, tied the Tour’s 18-hold scoring record, and was one of Poulter’s personal best rounds. "I would rank it pretty high, to be honest," he said. "I shot 61 in Italy in 2002 I think, so it's my lowest round of golf to date. So I would have to rate it up there.I played great all week. It's just nice to be able to have another 'W'.”
