New Cobra S3 Fairways Feature a Large Sweet Zone® and an Oversize Profile
Cobra Golf announces the introduction of the Cobra S3 Fairway and Cobra S3 Max Fairway. This new family of fairways features a larger, hotter face and an oversize profile for increased distance from the fairway.

COBRA S3 FAIRWAY
The Cobra S3 Fairway is made of 17-4 stainless steel and features a larger and hotter clubface with an oversize profile, increasing the Sweet Zone to promote superior distance and accuracy from the fairway. The clubface is 25% larger, which in turn increases the size of the Sweet Zone for higher COR and increased overall distance. A high moment of inertia design delivers superior forgiveness. The Cobra S3 Fairway generates a mid-high launch and a mid-draw bias ball flight.

High-Performance Fujikura Blur™ Shaft

The Cobra S3 Fairway is available in 3, 5 and 7 models with a Fujikura Blur TX 005 shaft, in choice of S (63g) or R (60g) flexes, as well as with Cobra/Golf Pride grips.
COBRA S3 MAX FAIRWAY
The 17-4 stainless steel Cobra S3 Max Fairway is designed to deliver maximum, draw-biased performance. Its new larger, hotter clubface and offset design promote draw-biased distance and ball flight with forgiveness from the fairway.
Larger, Hotter Face
- New 25% larger face increases the size of the Sweet Zone for higher COR and increased overall distance.
Offset Design
- Promotes a square face at impact, which provides maximum draw bias (anti-slice) for longer, more consistent shots.
Crown Alignment Design
- Visual cues and set-up ensure proper alignment with target and help keep club on desired swing path.
High-Performance Fujikura Blur™ Shaft
- A lightweight shaft with CAGE technology, proprietary finish, and thin carbon interweave.
The Cobra S3 Max Fairway is available in 3, 5 and 7 models. It comes standard with Fujikura Blur TX 006 or TX 005 shaft, in choice of R (60g) or Lite (55g) flexes, as well as with a Cobra/Golf Pride grip. A women’s version is also offered in lofts of 3, 5, 7 and 9 with a Fujikura Blur TX 004 shaft in Women’s (48g) flex.
New Cobra S3 and S3 Max Fairways will be available at retail Feb. 11, 2011, with SRP of £159.
